If you think you have protruding eyes the subtle cat eye is a good look. It refines and elongates the eye shape by shifting the emphasis to the outer corners. This way their "bigness" is altogether less direct and impactful.

I subscribed too. I experimented with eye shadow years ago but it was a disaster as it only made my eyes look more prominent. I’m going to try this soon! I’m scared to try the lashes though. They seem so hard to do.

Smokey eye looks always seem so intimidating because they are quite bold, but when you showed you can do a softer version, it is clear that it is more versatile than I initially thought! I have prominent eyes, and used to think i had hooded eyes and never felt completely happy with my shadow placement. I will try your techniques!

Hi, welcome back. Loved the eye look today. I have been practicing everyday applying eye shadow, and I had ordered these eye strips, and I was actually able to do a look. I was very proud of myself for that. I've done that look a few times just to make sure I have that down. I pretty much already mastered your look on the Prominent Eye Makeup Tips For Beginners - Summer Edition. I loved that look. There are a few more looks that I would like to be able to do. One is the Halo. No matter what I can't do that one. You had a couple of videos with you doing it, but I can't seem to do it. I even used a sticky note; this was a while back so I didn't have these strips. So, I used the sticky note on the outer part of the eye and made it straight; so that part came out ok; however, the inner part and the rest of the lid, forget it. I really want to master this look. Any suggestions?? Oh, I watched a video last night; it wasn't in English so of course I couldn't understand what they were saying, but she did a Halo look using a teaspoon. Have you ever heard of that? Sorry for the long comment :)

Wrong. I was born with what you could call a hybrid between deep and prominent eyes (are often described by others as "baby" or "Anime" eyes), but NO medical problem was found Some eyes are just more...prominent than others. just like there are people with tiny eyes.
